In the beginning, biomolecules emerged…

Earth came into being around 4.5 billion years ago, but it wasn’t until about half a billion years later that the right conditions arose for life to emerge. Scientists postulate that during this period, simple organic molecules like proteins, sugars, and nucleic acids formed through chemical processes. Stanley Miller’s groundbreaking experiments in 1952 support this theory.
